Floridians Can Now Register As A Jeffersonian At RegisterToVoteFlorida.gov
Back in February, I was voted out of the Collier County Republican Executive Committee for believing in traditional gender roles and this after having gone through a ridiculous process in which the authorities of the Committee broke their rules and lied in order to rig the process against me. After many frustrations for years with the Republican party, this was the last straw that confirmed to me that it was easier to start a new party than to reform what was already existing, so I left the Republican party and began working on a new one. In May, I wrote a Substack article introducing my ideas for the Jeffersonian Party. I had some of the relevant documentation already completed, but there was a large amount of work still left to do, and I had no team, it was only me. In that article I wrote, "I hope to begin registering voters by the end of November this year."
It is now the end of November, and the Jeffersonian Party has been approved by the State of Florida; we have ballot access. The governing documents are complete, our paperwork has been approved by the Florida Division of Elections as well as the Office of General Counsel of the Florida Department of State, all sixty-seven Supervisors of Elections have been notified, and the Party has been added to Florida's online voter registration form and Division of Elections database. The State Executive Committee of the Party currently meets on Jitsi Meet, a zoom alternative, on the first Friday of the month, 6:30-8:00pm. We already have plans underway to run our first candidate in 2028, and in the meantime, we will be registering voters and building up the infrastructure of the Party, such as the County Executive Committees, our volunteer network, and our fundraising efforts.
Floridians can register for the Party at RegisterToVoteFlorida.gov, and anyone who would like to learn more about the Party or donate can visit JeffersonianPartyFL.com. We would greatly appreciate if you made a recurring donation of 10$/month. Having a pool of consistent small dollar donors greatly increases our financial stability and credibility, which allows us to plan more effectively and makes it easier to secure funding from bigger donors.
